Chris Richards The USDA National Laboratory for Genetic Resources Preservation (NLGRP) in Fort Collins, Colorado secures collections of our nation’s important agricultural resources. In addition to maintaining large collections, NLGRP supports the global effort to preserve plant diversity through their genetic research. This video discusses the imperative to collect diverse crops and their wild relatives, as well as the impact that DNA sequencing has on understanding and using genebank collections.
