Manuela Nagel (Liebniz Institute), The Knowledge Archives Dr. Manuela Nagel is the Head of Cryo and Stress Biology at The Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research in Germany. Her research focuses on plant cryopreservation – a process to store genetic materials from plants for decades. Specifically, her work involves preserving agricultural crops for gene banks.
